How to Reach Jim Corbett River Resort
Corbett National Park is situated on NH-309 & NH-121, and is well connected with all the major towns and cities across India; one can reach here by train, public transport buses run by Uttarakhand Transport Services or private cab. Volvo Bus or Private/ shared Cab is most convenient way to reach Corbett National Park from Delhi, which takes around 6 hours. The nearest railway station to Corbett is Ramnagar, Kathgodaam and Moradabad and Airport is Rudrapur, Bareilly and Dehradun.
How to reach Corbett National Park by Air:
'Corbett National Park doesn’t have an airport. If one wants to go by air, Phoolbagh in Pantnagar (Rudrapur) & Bareilly is the nearest airport. It is located 70 km away from Jim Corbett. Pantnagar airport is well connected with major cities in India, so one can easily reach there. Delhi which is 250 km away is the nearest international airport for the people travelling from abroad. Flights from Lucknow and New Delhi travel to Pantnagar twice a week, so one can arrange accordingly. One can easily find taxi from Pantnagar to Jim Corbett. How to reach Corbett National Park by Train/Rail:
Ramnagar railhead is the nearest railway station to Jim Corbett National Park. This railway station is connected to major cities of India, Delhi, lucknow, Mumbai, Moradabad, Varanasi, Haridwar. Ranikhet Express and Utkal sampark Kranti Express are one of the trains that operate from New Delhi railway station to Ramnagar & Kathgodam railway station. This train runs daily between the two places. Bus or taxi are easily available that will take you to Jim Corbett. Also, trains are available from Moradabad railway station.
Ranikhet Express – The train leaves Delhi at 2200 hrs and reaches Kathgodam/ Ramnagar in the very early morning. From Railway station either you can hire a cab/ jeep and reach Jim Corbett National Park or ask the lodge to arrange the pick-up, can be arranged at an extra cost.
Alternatively, Utkal sampark Kranti Express starts from Delhi at 1600 hrs and reaches Kathgodam/ Ramnagar in the evening 20:00 Hours. From Railway station either you can hire a cab/ jeep and reach Jim Corbett National Park or ask the lodge to arrange the pick-up, can be arranged at an extra cost.
Corbett Link Express – Leaves Old Delhi at 2245 hrs and reaches Ramnagar at 0530 hrs
Utkal Sampark Kranti Express – leaves Delhi at 1330 hrs and reaches Ramnagar at 2030 hrs
